  • Join The Texas Tribune Festival and Alamo On Demand for a special evening documentary screening of “At the Ready” and an exclusive conversation with filmmakers Maisie Crow, Abbie Perrault and Hillary Pierce and star Mason Garcia, moderated by René Kladzyk, Reporter at El Paso Matters.

  • “At the Ready” is a documentary about a group of seniors at El Paso’s Horizon High School who train to become police officers and Border Patrol agents. It was directed by Maisie Crow, the editor in chief of the Big Bend Sentinel, and premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival.

  • This screening and conversation will be available to all Festival ticket holders. Information on how to access the screenings will be sent to Festival ticket holders ahead of the event.
