Before reinventing Jane Austen became cliché, Amy Heckerling adapted the classic story of “Emma” into a hilarious, insanely clever satire of adolescence in Beverly Hills. CLUELESS spawned fashion trends, countless slang terms (AS IF!) and gave Alicia Silverstone a reason to exist beyond Aerosmith videos. Twenty-five years later (!), we are still majorly, totally, butt-crazy in love with this movie.
If you’ve, say, been living in a Judy’s in the mall and have never seen this movie, get ready to experience the greatest teen comedy ever made. And if you’re just itching to go rollin’ with the homies for the hundredth time so you can quote all of the lines (from the movie and from Cliff’s Notes, duh), we hope you’ll do so, not sporadically!
