TUFF - Agreement
An impossible conversation: eight linguists agree and disagree about language.
“Agreement” is an artificially constructed conversation comprised of manipulated audio fragments from interviews with linguistics scholars and students. More than 3,000 hand-drawn and painted frames visualize linguistic phenomena such as phonetics, semantics, and syntax. Over the course of 8 minutes, 8 voices agree and disagree about the agreement that is language, accompanied by these distinct visual vignettes.
