Director Trenchard-Smith was promised a large budget with many extras, top-flight sets and special effects – but at the last minute, the production lost funding and he was forced to improvise. Fortunately he was more than up to the task; TURKEY SHOOT more than makes up for it in pace, excitement and blood.
