When a punk band scores their first tour, life on the road proves tough when they are joined by a man-eating (albeit affable) demon as a roadie.
Punk outfit DUH are about to embark on their first tour in preparation for a big hometown show. Only problem is their van just got repo’ed.
Luckily, they run into a pleasant southern redneck, Peckerhead or “Peck” to his friends, who just happens to live in a 15-passenger van. He is more than happy to be their roadie and merch guy if they throw him a few bucks and cover gas. What could be the harm?
He seems like a nice guy who is just down on his luck; maybe some camaraderie could do him well. However, Peck has a secret he is keeping: if he doesn’t take his medicine before midnight, he turns into a cannibalistic monster.
Part insane road-trip comedy, part rock concert, part unimaginable gore-fest, Uncle Peckerhead world premiered at Panic Fest in Kansas City in January and was named among the “Best of Fest.” It also received a Special Jury Award for Narrative Feature Film at the Calgary Underground Film Festival and Audience Choice Award at the Portland Horror Film Festival. Experience it on Alamo on Demand starting on August 11th!
