Hello, my name is Evrim and I’m addicted to movies.

I don’t think it was ever the intention of my parents to make me obsessed about the movies but a childhood of cinema double bills, endless VHS rentals and being looked after by your local video store will do that to you. Not only that but will also make you crazy about the widest variety of films imaginable - I love movies, A to Z.

Of course, there are things that forever will make me instantaneously happy - transgressive movies which overwhelm with brilliant precision like NOTHING BAD CAN HAPPEN for example, or the visual intensity of fine gialli like THE STRANGE COLOR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS - or exquisitely orchestrated violence like that in THE MAN FROM NOWHERE - and sometimes the emotional brutality of humanity like in BULLHEAD - I love films that challenge, entertain but most importantly have a unique voice with which to speak with.

These choices represent a mindmap of sorts - there’s violence, gangsters, humor, reality, horror, drama, and much more - all combining together to create that immitigable magic that I’ve looked for since I was 5.
